Racing Extreme is an online Power Sports resource created to provide
information to racers and race fans, assist promoters and power sports

2) What is the Golf Farm?
The Golf Farm is located on Rt 12 North of Wauconda, IL. Aside from being
home to the Winter Thunder Snocross and several miscellaneous Power Sports
events in the past years the Golf Farm is a full restaurant and bar with a
driving range, putting greens, mini golf and plenty of land providing the
perfect place to hold this event. Visit

3) What is this event?
This event is a full day of fun for the Power Sports Enthusiast who enjoys
the high octane excitement of Snowmobile Grass drag racing, ATV racing
and/or searching through the swap and vendor area for new and used power
sports parts and equipment.

4) When is this event?
This event is scheduled for Saturday October 25, 2008. In the event of
inclement weather the rain date is set for the following day. Sunday

5) Where is this event?
The race and swap meet portion of this event will be held behind the Golf
Farm Bar and Restaurant 2100 North Rt. 12 Wauconda, IL 60084, The actual
event entrance is just South of the Golf Farm Main Bar on the East Side of
Rt. 12. Look for the Grass Drags and Swap Meet entrance sign. Click

6) How much is admission?
General Admission is 10.00. Kids under 12 will be admitted free with a
paid adult.
Receive a $2.00 discount if you show a membership card to an IASC or AWSC
affiliated snowmobile club.

7) Can I get tickets in advance?
There are no advanced general admission tickets available. Everyone must
pay at the gate the day of the event. If you are a sponsor or have
coordinated a spot for vending we will have an envelope for you at the
gate the day of the event.

8) Where do we park?
We have plenty of free parking at the event once you are inside the gate.

9) When do the gates Open?
Gates open to the Public at 9:00am
The racer, vendor and swapper gate opens at 6:30am to allow time for
set-up and registration. If you need more time or would like to set up the
day before please contact us to coordinate entry.

10) Is there a Rain Date for
this event?
The actual event date is Saturday Oct. 25, 2008 and the Rain Date is the
following Day Sunday October 26, 2008. In the event we have inclement
weather both days the promoters of this event will make a decision at that
time.

11) Is there food available at
the event?
Aside from the Golf Farm restaurant and bar there will be a food and
beverage tent near the race course and vending/swapper area.

12) Is there lodging in the
area?
There are several hotels and motels with in a few miles of the event
grounds. We have worked out a racer discount with the ones listed on the

13) Is camping allowed?
Camping is only available on Friday Oct. 24 and Saturday Oct. 25 to
racers, vendors and swappers coming in a day early for set-up and needing
an extra day for tear down. There is a fee for camping please call ahead
to coordinate.

14) Are pets allowed?
We are sorry but due to liability reasons and the safety of your pet and
everyone on the premises we can not allow any pets at the event.

15) What is the policy on Carry
Ins?
Sorry but we do not allow Carry Ins! No alcohol, cans or glass bottles
will be allowed to be brought in.

16) Are grills allowed?
For the safety of everyone at the event and by order of the local fire
department grills are not allowed.

17) Who can race?
There will be classes available for racers of all ages from the amateurs
to the pros including Kitty Kat and 120cc races for the kids where
everyone’s a winner.

18) Do I need a membership to
race?
This is not a sanctioned race so no membership is needed and no fee will
be charged.

or insurance fee?
In an effort to keep costs down to the competitor we will not be charging
any insurance or administration fees.

20) How much dose it cost to
race?
Aside from the general admission fee, the only other expense will be the
entry fee for each class you wish to race.

and tech?
Racer registration and tech will be held day of event from 7:00am to
9:30am

allowed?
Yes Test and tune will be allowed from 9:00am to 10:00am only after the
sled has passed tech.

between a Swapper and a Vendor?
SWAPPER: A private non-commercial individual(s) engaged in selling used
equipment and merchandise.
DEALER: Any person or group involved in a business where buying and
selling is the purpose of the enterprise.

The swap meet portion of this event is for individuals to sell, purchase
and swap used equipment and machines related to the Power Sports industry.

The media must contact us and provide us with assignment details in order
to obtain media credentials.

30) What is the Track Like?
We have recently constructed a new 500 foot laser graded dedicated track
with a sifted clay start line. Lanes are 25 foot wide with 1000 feet of
shut down at the end of the course.
